Real Life Relationship Education & Awareness for Life
A school based training program for year 8 & 9 or a community based program for young people out of school that:
- Explores beliefs, values and attitudes about relationships
- Increases knowledge and skills to develop healthy relationships
- Develops understandings about the role of gender and power in relationships
- Helps link young people with local services and support
Real Life forges vital links between young people, schools and youth support organisations, domestic violence agencies, police and community health services.
Real Life endeavors to skill students and young people in developing healthy relationships and to seek support when relationships are unhealthy.
The Real Life Program consists of a comprehensive, easy to follow Manual in lesson plan format which includes:
- Four complete topics
- An easy to use lesson plan format – copy and go!
- Student and facilitator evaluations
- Follow up projects

Facilitator Training - A 5 1/2 hour workshop that:
- Outlines the program content
- Provides the skills and confidence to implement the course
- Provides further resources and program ideas
- Develops a support network for facilitators that includes educators and youth support agency workers
