The Zonta ‘Walk in my Shoes’ display will appear at Kilmore, Seymour, Wallan and Broadford libraries as well as at the Mitchell Community Arts and Crafts Show (November 27 and 28) with stories of women and children victim-survivors of family violence.

Goulburn Valley Walk Against Family Violence

Friday, November 26, 2021 // 10.30am // Shepparton

Join the GV Family Violence Prevention Network, Primary Care Connect, Vincent Care, Greater Shepparton City Council and Berry Street at Vincent Care Marian Community at 144 Welsford St, Shepparton to set off on this walk. Agency representatives available at locations along the walk route to talk about family violence and services available. The walk will conclude in Monash Park with agency stalls and free coffee.

Ora Holt Memorial Day - Fun family day out

Saturday, November 27, 2021 // From 8am // Freeburgh Community Hall

Take part in a 12km horse trail, bike course, walk or run from Freeburgh Community Hall, enjoy a silent auction, vintage car display and live music. Pre-register or pay on the day – tickets include lunch and a drink. Proceeds to 4Kids and Carers Future Foundation.

Coffee with a Cop is a collaboration between Victoria Police, Mitchell Shire Council and local cafe vendors, encouraging locals community to attend Flavour Gourmet Foods at 95 High Street, Broadford, for a free coffee, chat about issues and build positive community relationships.

Accidental Counsellor workshop

Accidental counselling refers to situations where emotional support is given by one person to another person and where the person giving support is not a trained counsellor. The Accidental Counsellor workshop, which will be held at the Beveridge Community Centre in Mandalay Circuit, is practical, interactive and will benefit anyone required to provide regular, or occasional, informal support.
