About the Community Minded project

In 2022, we asked how people were coping after COVID-19 lockdowns. Now, we’d love to hear your thoughts on health and wellbeing in 2026. Your feedback will help WHGNE plan future programs and advocate for better access to health and support services across northeast Victoria and the Goulburn Valley.

Following an amazing response to our Community Minded survey, which has now closed, we’re talking to locals from around our region face-to-face, to hear your experiences and priorities for community wellbeing.

Register for an online small group conversation to share your perspective

After-hours session: Wednesday 20 May, 6:30-7:30pm

Morning session: Thursday 21 May, 10-11am

When the results are in, we’ll share our findings and recommendations with our partners in health and local government across the region, with a forum planned for late in 2026.

If you would like to participate but can’t make a session or have any questions, click the image below to contact the Community Minded team.

Thank you to all of our partners across health, local government and community organisations who shared the Community Minded survey!

We’ll publish a snapshot of Community Minded findings here on this page in June 2026.

What will we do with the survey data?

Will my answers be anonymous?

We are collecting information on people’s health and wellbeing experiences in communities across our region to compare with the results of our previous Community Minded survey in 2022. The information will be used to help plan WHGNE’s programs and activities to strengthen community access to health and support services, inform our advocacy and engage with our partners across the region about health and wellbeing to see what we can do together to respond to community needs.

WHGNE will not share any identifying information you choose to provide. Your responses might be quoted or summarised anonymously in public reporting on this consultation. The survey provides opportunity to share your email address if you’re interested in participating in future consultation, but providing your email or other identifying information is not mandatory. Any identifying or sensitive data you provide will be stored securely and de-identified.
