Making Two Worlds Work was an initiative that aims to build the capacity of the health and community sector to work effectively and respectfully with Aboriginal communities.
It was a collaboration between Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation and Women’s Health Goulburn North East, supported by the Upper Hume Primary Care Partnership and Wodonga Regional Health Service.
The project focused on creating and making available:
- Locally produced Aboriginal artwork and images that health services could display in their agencies;
- Accessible information about local Aboriginal history and culture, protocols, key organisations and contacts; and
- Resources to support health services in their work with Aboriginal clients, families and community.
