Care through Disaster in Practice: A Toolkit for Leaders, from the Citizen to the State is the second release to come out of WHGNE’s research collaboration with Australia reMADE, that asked communities across the Goulburn North East region “what does it take to care and be cared for before, during and after disaster?”

This work builds on WHGNE and Australia reMADE’s initial report, Care through Disaster: A new lens on what’s needed to survive and thrive in tumultuous times. Taking a practical approach to applying the lived experience data presented in the first report, Care through Disaster in Practice contains recommendations for citizens, community organisations and leaders in every level of government to put Care through Disaster into action.
