In partnership with the Ovens Murray Family Violence Partnership (OMFVP), we’ve developed Prevention in Response – a suite of resources to build the capacity of family violence response practitioners to incorporate prevention strategies into their continuum of care.
Prevention in Response took shape when the Ovens Murray Family Violence Partnership engaged WHGNE to co-develop and pilot a project to build the capacity of family violence response staff in primary prevention practices and foster cross-sector collaboration and mutual learning.
The Framework and Implementation Practice Guide are now available to other organisations, enabling them to deliver this project, and drive systemic change in the prevention of gender-based violence.
